What an incredible first year we have had at Tiffield Academy. I am so proud of our children, their families and our wonderful staff team. We have worked together to ensure our children have the best possible provision and can continue developing as the wonderful humans they are!

We have a fantastic, purpose-built school, designed with the expertise of those who understand what our children need to feel safe, comfortable and confident in their new setting. During our first year, we have grown into our space and truly feel that we have tailored our areas to meet the needs of our learners. We have made them functional, versatile and exactly what our children need. The sensory spaces, library, music, art and cooking rooms provide wonderful opportunities to enrich our children’s everyday experiences.

Our aspirational curriculum ensures that academic potential is reached, alongside nurturing pastoral support which will develop our children's sense of self and identity. Our ethos enables our children to understand who they are and how they fit into the world around them, recognising and celebrating strengths and differences.

Our staff team are simply incredible and demonstrate, through their work with our children, the values of our school: to be kind, to be curious and to be ambitious. We feel incredibly lucky to have such a breadth of experience and the feedback we have received from our families about the nurture, care and warmth their children receive encapsulates why we do the work we do.

Personally, I feel grateful every day to be leading our wonderful school. Working alongside our children, our families and the staff continues to be the biggest privilege of all.
