Hi I’m Julie

I am thrilled to be joining Tiffield Academy and can’t wait for the doors to open.  Living in Towcester, it's great to have this purpose-built school so close.  I have worked in education for 29 years, including 18 years as a Special Educational Needs teacher.  I have enjoyed supporting my son and daughter with their education and hobbies and now that they are both at university, I am ready to begin a new chapter by working at this wonderful school.

3 facts about me:

1. I am really interested in animals and love walking and training my German Shepherd dog called Kya.

2. I regularly enjoy going to the theatre and concerts.  My favourite musical is The Lion King.

3. In my free time I like going to the leisure centre with my friends. Here I enjoy taking part in various exercise classes and swimming sessions.

I can’t wait to start teaching the Reception and Year 1 pupils as they start their learning journey at Tiffield Academy, I know it will be lots of fun.
