Here at Tiffield we request that children arrive at school each day in the correct uniform. We are believers that wearing a uniform enables children to feel proud to be a part of the school and give them a real sense of belonging.

All items are standard school wear and can be purchased from the shop of your choice or with a school logo from Price and Buckland. We do however ask that they adhere to our guidelines as follows;

Primary uniform

• Black trousers, joggers or leggings, shorts or skirt
• White polo tops (These can be purchased with the Tiffield Academy logo), shirts, or blouses 
• Purple jumper or cardigan (These can be purchased with the Tiffield Academy logo)
• White or plain dark socks or black tights
• Smart black closed toe shoes or trainers with no heel. 

Summer Uniform

A lightweight purple summer dress may be worn.  All other uniform items, especially sensible black shoes, remain the same.

Key Stage 4 (Year 9 and above) Uniform

As above but students can wear a black sweatshirt or cardigan (These are available to purchase with the Tiffield Academy logo.). 

Post 16 Students

The Post 16 dress code plays an important role in contributing to the ethos of the wider academy, and in setting an appropriate tone for an in independent and mature approach to learning. This will allow students to express themselves as individuals, but in an appropriate way while complementing the main academy uniform policy and setting an example for the younger members of the academy community.

Whilst students are given considerable freedom in determining how they dress to attend Post 16, some items are prohibited and these can be found in the Academy Uniform Policy.

PE kit

• Black shorts or skorts (These can be purchased with the Tiffield Academy logo)
• Purple sports polo shirt (These can be purchased with black panels and the academy logo)
• Black tracksuit for outdoor PE
• Trainers or other suitable PE footwear

School bags

PE bags and Book bags can be purchased from the Price and Buckland website, or other suitable bags may be used.

Outdoor Clothing

At Tiffield we have some amazing outdoor spaces which we use all year round.  Please can you make sure your child has appropriate clothing for all weathers e.g. coat, hat, gloves, sun hat. 

Not suitable for school

Jewellery is not permitted in school with the exception of a watch. If your child has their ears pierced, only small studs are allowed. Your child must be able to remove these unaided for any P.E. lessons. Please provide a container for these to be kept in.

We ask that you support the school by not sending your child to school wearing make-up.
